Your
great value Wise Money bicycle insurance quote will be provided by an
insurance company that is a member of the GISC's General Insurance Standards
Council.
Your bike and fixed accessories will be covered against accidental damage and theft anywhere in the UK.
Bikes up to three years old will be replaced as new (in the event of a total loss). Subject to availability we will endeavour to replace your bike with the same make and model, but we reserve the right to provide the nearest alternative in some circumstances. for bikes three or more years old a deduction will be made for wear and tear.
Your
bicycle insurance quote's principle exclusions:
The first £50 of any claim
Professional use
Theft or damage to the bike if left unattended unless locked to an immovable
object using a lock approved by us or kept in a locked building
Theft or damage if the bike is left outside at any time between 11pm and
7am. Cover will only be extended if you have secured your bike using a lock
approved by us and either the saddle or the front wheel has been removed
Following a theft - in order to prove a claim it will be necessary for the
lock key, and/or remains of lock and/or proof of lock purchased to be produced
Theft or damage to accessories unless the bike is stolen or damaged at the
same time
Any bike left in one location outside of a locked building for a period
of 24 hours or more will be classed as abandoned and will not be covered
